Okay, I remember a cartoon movie from the mid 80s which I believe did not feature any talking. The gist of it was that the whole world was being taken over by some horrible tyrant or evil force that turned everything a drab color and all of the houses became identical blocks. It still haunts me. It was very scary and I would love to revisit this one.

Eureka! This is it! Haha, thanks alot. I didn't remember anything about this. It is such a cute cartoon, but it was absolutely terrifying when I was five years old. FYI the whole thing is available on youtube. Thanks again.
