60's cartoon with a professor that says "Voila"

I've been trying to remember the name of a cartoon in the 60's that featured a tall professor in a white lab coat next to a short assistant. He would explain things with a chalkboard and always said "Voila!" when the lecture was done. Anyone remember this one?

It's most likely "Clyde Crashcup," a segment of "The Alvin Show." Crashcup was a scientist who "invented" things that already existed. His short assistant was Leonardo, who never spoke out loud, but merely whispered in Crashcup's ear.

Thank you so much! It's been bugging me for years! I don't remember watching the Alvin show so much, but loved Clyde and Leonardo! My husband is a cartoon "expert", but couldn't help me with this one, so thanks again!

The above description definitely sounds like Clyde Crashcup, although it's possible that the OP could be remembering multiple cartoons as one. The chalkboard thing was a staple of Phineas J. Whoopee from Total Television's Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales.
