I remember watching that show. I liked it but I always got creeped out whenever ALF mentioned how delicious a cat looked.

If I recall correctly, there were 2 cartoons based on Alf. Both pretty crappy. In comparison to the sit-com at least.

The first ALF animated series was about his life on Melmac before he came to Earth. The second one had him and his friends starring in "Alfated"(made that word up) versions of fairy tales.

Paul Fusco played the voice of A.L.F. (aka Gordon Shumway, surivivor after Planet Melmac blew up). Fusco also was the producer of the live-action "ALF" series whcih ran for 4 seasons on NBC primetime. DIC Productions animated the Saturday morning "ALF" and "ALF- Tales" cartoon series that ran on NBC for a few seasons.

I enjoyed the writing in "Alf Tales" at least.
