Animal gives eggs containing things people need

In the cartoon there were two main characters: an animal (probably a little dino) and a boy (I think there was a boy).
The animal would put eggs (!) with things they needed. For example: if they needed a hammer, the animal would put an egg that had a hammer inside.
Makes about 7 years I saw this cartoon.
Another detail: the scenario of the cartoon was a forest.
Sorry but these are the only things that I can remember.

no, it was a dinosaur that would put (or out off it belly) eggs with things they needed
