"Busytown Mysteries" debuts Monday on Kids' CBC You Must Register Before You Can Post



The Forum's own damfine (aka David Germain) is one of the animators behind Cookie Jar Entertainment's newest series, Busytown Mysteries (Hurray For Huckle!), which begins airing at 8:30 a.m. Monday, October 29 during the Kids' CBC pre-school programming block.

Inspired by best-selling children's author Richard Scarry, who sold more than 150 million books worldwide, Busytown Mysteries (Hurray For Huckle!) blends humor and learning and follows six unforgettable characters who try to solve everyday life mysteries in Busytown. Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm, Sally Cat, Hilda Hippo and other colorful characters are always up for a new adventure, and with everyone driving their own funny vehicle, getting there is half the fun. Hurray for Huckle! encourages young viewers to help solve life's little puzzles as they ask questions, find clues and discover answers, all from their own unique kid point of view.

Also watch for the superb animation done on the show. I say that with no hyperbole either. Our animation director even told us. Every other department of the show (storyboard, layout, etc.) has had to be overhauled at least once. However, the director and the producers liked the aniamtion we did right from the start. They had a few minor revisions for us but overall we're batting .990 So, I'd say that's definitely a good reason to watch on Monday morning.
