Eh, for me it's a toss-up; each channel has had shows which I like and shows which I don't like, and each have ebbed and flowed in appeal for me in pretty much the same manner over the years since the inception of both networks, so I can't say that 1 channel is unequivocally better or worse than the other. Do we even need to put 1 channel over the other? Does everything have to be a contest: CN or Nick? DC or Marvel? Warner Bros. or Disney? Coke or Pepsi? Can't we just appreciate the merits of both? To me, it's like comparing apples to oranges. Some people prefer apples and some prefer oranges. But is an apple truly better than an orange? Or are they just different? I prefer to just say that both channels have their strengths and both have their weaknesses and leave it at that.

Currently I am more inclined to watch Cartoon Network but I still enjoy a few Nick shows and I look forward to Korra and Ninja Turtles.

I used to prefer Nick more, but I find current shows on Cartoon Network better than what I find now on Nick. Also, Nick doesn't show as much cartoons now as they used to. So Cartoon Network is clearly my favorite.

I used to prefer Nick more, but I find current shows on Cartoon Network better than what I find now on Nick. Also, Nick doesn't show as much cartoons now as they used to. So Cartoon Network is clearly my favorite. Well, to be fair, Nickelodeon has always been a general kids' entertainment channel. It's was never a cartoon channel, per se. Nick didn't even start producing their own original animated series until 1991. I think that 1 reason why Nick doesn't show as much animated programming as it used to now is because Nick has an digital extra channel devoted (mostly) to animated programming, Nicktoons Network (formerly Nicktoons TV). Of course Nicktoons kind of sucks now because it's focus has shifted to airing mostly action themed programming and the channel even airs some non-animated programs now, but that gripe is for another discussion.

Uh, can I get a do-over? 'Cause I'd like to change my original answer. Of the 2, right now it's Cartoon Network by default. I presently only watch a select few shows on CN, but right now I watch more shows on CN than I do on Nick or Disney Channel combined. (I am planning to watch Nick's TMNT series, but that's still a ways away.) A lot of people in my age bracket complain about how far CN has sunk, but personally I say it hasn't been this watchable in a while. My only real beefs with CN at the moment are that Adult Swim is allowed to take up far too much time and space on the network and that CN of late keeps trying and trying to ape Disney and Nick instead of presenting themselves as the alternative to those channels. The Big Brass at CN simply refuse to believe (or just choose to ignore) the very simple and obvious fact that people do not want to see live-action on a channel called CARTOON Network, and that a channel bearing the word 'cartoon' in its' name should be showing cartoons exclusively. Shows like Tower Prep, Unnatural History, Level Up and this upcoming Nick Cannon sketch comedy show (which I caught a glimpse of the internet) aren't/weren't/don't look like terrible shows, but they just don't belong on Cartoon Network. They could and likely would do well somewhere else, like Nick, Disney or even The Hub; just not on a channel built on the foundation of showing cartoons and nothing but cartoons.

^ Exactly my sentiments, to me, no matter how bad CN gets (I consider 2007-2009 rock bottom for the channel), it always somehow remains MUCH more watchable than Nick and Disney Channel.
