Convenient Amazon tag for those collecting -
For those beginning their dvd/home video collections of vintage theatrical cartoons, I've created an Amazon tag: restored vintage animation - http://www.amazon.com/...p#page=1:sort=recent - which will provide a list of just about every worthwhile and quality cartoon compilation available, from the most obscure to the most popular by a variety of distributors. Their are currently 112 entries, and I add new ones as they become available for purchase. This will allow you to find great stuff FAST without all the tedious searching I was initially subjected to. Please be aware that this tag is only used for THEATRICAL cartoons - you won't find Chuck Jones' "Tom and Jerry" dvd set listed, for instance. The list also does not include laserdiscs since Amazon barely mentions them on-site. I'd love to include them, especially the out of print Betty Boop two part set and five volume "The Golden Age of Looney Tunes 1930-1948". Enjoy, and happy hunting! - Jon, New York

I have nothing to contribute to the tagging adventure you have got going, but hell, might as well give my gratitude. I will definitely browse through this whole tag o rama some time. Thank you very much!

As much as I love the traditional style of cartoons, two dimensional characters can be rather frustrating sometimes. Exhibit A:
