Does anyone know the name of the Droopy cartoon where he and butch went to house-sit at a bear's house, and the bear would have a fit if the slightest noise was made? Is it available in DVD?

Wow! Thanks so much. That's right. Was it a Tex Avery cartoon, and do you know if it's on DVD. My 26 yr.old son started quoting the bear at work, and couldn't remember what cartoon it was. Thanks again for the reply!

If possible, you can get the French Tex Avery cartoon collection. Check French Amazon, they might have it.

As much as I love the traditional style of cartoons, two dimensional characters can be rather frustrating sometimes. Exhibit A:

Thanks to your post Librarylady, I've made this a sticky. We get enough inquiries on this toon questioning the director and, is it a Droopy toon or not? So your not alone here... Here's a couple of pics to help out.

I love that one, just one the the many hits from the MGM hit factory they had at that time. I am looking a dvd collection of Classic MGM Studio shorts cartoons" the list says 315 cartoons.
