Swedish actress and entertainer Mona Seilitz, the voice of Prillan in the Pettson och Findus animated film trilogy, died Wednesday at 65.
Born in Malmo on January 16, 1943, Seilitz was in the cast of all three of the Happy Life Animation family movies: Pettson och Findus - katten och gubbens år (1999), Pettson och Findus - Kattonauten (2000) and Pettson och Findus 3: Tomtemaskinen (2005).
A veteran of Swedish comedic and dramatic television series, she had the reputation of appearing in riper roles, contrary to her work in cartoons. She was in such movies as The Swedish Fanny Hill (1968), sometimes without clothing.
Seilitz's TV series included Gäst hos Hagge (1975), Anna och gänget (1978), Sinkadus (1980), Babels hus (1981), Stjärnsmällar och julpussar, Kakan (1991) and Hotel Seger (2000).
