I like "Inspector Gadget" best. But I also like "Super Mario Bros." and "The Littles." These shows had great musical soundtracks by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban, and also featured some of the earliest appearances of today's well-known voice actors/actresses (Cree Summer voiced Penny in the first season of IG). Robot Chicken did a REALLY FUNNY parody of "Inspector Gadget." They even got Cree Summer to reprise her role as Penny, and they got Frank Welker to voice Brain, Dr. Claw and MAD Cat! I think that's Maurice LaMarche voicing Gadget and Chief Quimby. If it is, then he does a really great job in this one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT8_H_91t4w

My favorites: The Get Along Gang -Good 80s Anthro animal kids cartoon...and not kid versions of established cartoon characters. Heathcliff/Catillac Cats -the great Mel Blanc as Heathcliff...and Riff-Raff and Cleo were a cool couple MASK -clever idea with vehicles changing into battle machines. Real Ghostbusters -best movie to tv cartoon adaptation. Enjoy Lorenzo Music's voice as Peter Venkman Kidd Video- Nice music and premise.

Hi Wilee Coyote; Thank you, that was great! I liked it when Dr. Claw said, "When will I get my true arch nemesis Penny?" Anyway I really appreciate it! That was really cool!

My favorite DIC cartoons are: Inspector Gadget (especially Inspector Gadger's Field Trip) The Littles Sabrina the Animated Series Sailor Moon Super Mario Bros. It was funny when DIC did Sonic and Super Mario because during both these productions Nintendo and SEGA where extremely competitive!

I think The Littles is the best DiC cartoon ever.

Am I the only one that finds it a bit weird that in fall of 1985 there was a "The Littles" episode where The Littles accidentally got themselves on a space shuttle and something went wrong with it and they had to fix it before it burns up in the atmosphere, and just a year later (actually less than a year) the Challenger disaster happened? It's Episode #2 from the 3rd season aired on September 21, 1985.

Favorite DIC Cartoon? I guess I have two to name... probably Inspector Gadget and Get Along Gang, although Inspector Gadget did have a lot of seasons... Don Adams as the character was great!

Besides "The Littles", I really like "Beverly Hills Teens". "Beverly Hills, 90210" totally ripped of this cartoon.

I don't think I've ever seen "The Get A Long Gang" referenced...ever...ever. I had to dig pretty deep online when I first got the internet to find out what the name of that cartoon was that was stuck in my head from Saturday mornings. Is it on DVD or VHS somewhere? Not sure what my favorite DiC cartoon was but I loved all the 80s ones that I can remember.

I also forgot to mention Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats. That show had some awesome music and animation in it as well. In fact, several of the 1983-1984 episodes of "The Littles" sort of have that Heathcliff look and feel to them, but without Mel Blanc.

Hmmm, well no contest, I consider their best (and only good ever IMHO) stuff period to be Inspector Gadget and The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon, well except for the second season of IG which was completely done by their Japanese facility (making it a France-Japan co-production at it too), the first season (and by Teletoon Retro's airing makes it the only season) the actual entire production, while by means they are still trademarkly heavily involved in it, namely exactly the concept and stuff extending to that cool blue catchy mallet logo, for Inspector Gadget's first season was done by Nelvana namely the writing, storyboarding, character design and elements of the animation in which most of it was done by studios such as TMS (the intro should explain it) and Wang Film Productions. So that means, exclusively IMHO, the ONE and ONLY really good production that they did in general of any merit at all was exactly and defiently The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and what's even more shocking since it was adapted from the one Sonic the Hedgehog game by SEGA, an American company (which also obviously has fallicites in Europe and Asia, namely Japan and China.), let alone this show made when Sonic was quite brand new at the time who at the time only appeared in one game so far and functioned mainly as SEGA's mascot (the perfect one, too, because he's blue, forget Alex Kidd), one of the reasons why it was actually really good was that you had great talented amazing guys in the business such as Vincent Waller, Milton Knight (hmmm, after seeing his work on the show, designing that of Dr Robotnik an extremely funny design, and then his other art including his earmarks elsewhere plus his main influences such as Pat Adams and H. Chambers, i began joking (only JOKING if you don't mind) that he took a very close and deep part in the creation of Sonic the Hedgehog, even going as so far as to kid and pretend that he created the character, even, which is most defiantly NOT true), Mike Fontanelli , Kent Butterworth and even Fred Crippen (who did the actually pretty funny and cool and dazzling designed Roger Ramjet) plus you had old timers like Howard Post and Ed Love, who is doing his swan song before his death in 1996. I also found the Sonic Sez segments to be really useful even if sometimes they would suffer (even the episodes themselves) from disjointed or haphazard layouts and storyboards (the layouts and even storyboards of this show were sometimes to be farmed directly to Milimetres Dubjious Animados in Spain and sometimes to Studio B Productions in Vancouver B.C and sometimes there would be no director to help the guys and it would kind of suffer as a result) and even animation (the animation was split up between Rainbow Animation Group of Korea who did absolutely the worst ones ever, Saerom again from Korea who notably did the episodes Robotnik's Rival and Full Tilt Tails, Hong Ying Animation Company from Tawain who did some really low quality episodes which were done on the computer (i think, i really don't have any plans of returning to show anytime soon as the Youtube Poop garbage gets in the way and takes me to inappropriate stuff which got me in trouble once a few years ago and would get me in trouble anytime, so spare me, please .) such as Attack of The Stupidity Fortress and also did rather extraneous lousy work like Untouchable Sonic and Lastly, Tokyo Movie Shinisha Co. Ltd (abbreviated as TMS to make things easier) had an animation quality that blew all of the other animation studios out of the water (check out their work on Cyberisx, easily one of their best and Inspector Gadget's intro and first season if you don't believe me, clearly way better, no sorry, a million times better than Rough Draft Korea, including Dong Woo, Lotto Animation and don't get me started on Akom, in any way ever, it's too bad they are not used anymore as they have been reorganized as TMS Entertainment, a studio which exclusively does ONLY strictly original Japanese animation projects combined with the fact that Japanese labor is actually pretty expensive) i think it's safe to say that they easily did the best ones in the batch, most obviously doing that long story arc of the Chaos Emeralds through time and Super Robotnik and also they actually did a few more including Magic Hassle, Lovesick Sonic, Close Encounters of the Sonic Kind (you'll know if you look close enough), Robotnik Jr and High Stakes Sonic, most of which was done on the computer (at least what i'm gathering of it's looks) and the writing well, even if it doesn't hold up well (Sonic in this show acts exactly and is pretty much like the Pink Panther specifically from that awful Claster syndicated monstrosity from 1993 and speaking of which the comparison from the Sonic show to the one from the games is exactly like the Pink Panther comparison to the regular silent self) it even does show good points (just like the Sez segments) like "Live Fast, Think Fast" to name a few. Anyway, as for the others, well all i can say is that the rest JUST for ME exclusively is nothing but pure all around amateur worse than usual GARBAGE and pure extremely dated filth that is really nearly easily driven to heart attack inducing, disgusting, a million miles beyond cheap, rash giving, anxiety-inducing and beyond wretchedly crap-inducing that serves no purpose but to really scare and traumatize and then to truly skin the willpower out of innocent children with indeed lively imaginations (not to also mention to dull and rip the imaginations out of them, not to mention kill their souls and intelligence as well). And also the Art Direction and pretty much everything in those things is so hideous, garbage, wretched and way a million miles beyond putrid that it was actually the exact main factor (not counting the H-B and even Filmation because that stuff looks extremely beautiful, professional and even ahead of time compared to the stuff i'm talking from experience from having to watch that stuff back from 1996-2005 in Syndication especially Fox Kids and on channel places such as YTV, Global and even Teletoon ) that led to an era, mainly the 1990s, of stuff that was severely eye-twitching (pinpoint pupils are enough to drive me way, even lumpiness and bumpyness), miles beyond cheap, amateurish, mind-destroying, extremely lousy, extraneously crude in a way that it looks like it came out of a pencil (or even using a crayon which you could say the same for the background execution sometimes) of a demented 5 year old (no offense, really) and repulsive, eye burning, ear bleeding, extremely loud, obnoxious and therefore shock inducing therefore brutal and overall unwatchable stuff in which has never ever gone away at all since, really. And it doesn't help that the actual shows are about exactly like how they end during and after the title and end credits in which they are followed (to end the show) by what apparently gave these guys (even though it was only two standard ones in that case between the 2001 globe and the cool, jazzy Inspector Gadget one in which should be restored when they re-release all 65 first season episodes on DVD and even Blu-Ray.) an extreme reputation for beyond creepy and fright-inducing TV logos, namely the badly animated blue cheesy neon lighting concentric circles (which actually i did not mind seeing when i was a kid when i was watching their version of Dennis the Menace on YTV in 1998-1999 i believe) from 1984 and that extremely scary (oh, dear even the light is on that time and surely the complete dark is defiantly NOT what it was depicted like THAT) and eyesore twitching kid in bed one from 1987 that extremely traumatized me and gave me really bad anxiety and extremely and severely paralyzed me out of my further intelligence and overall active imagination in which when i had to deal with it defiantly and especially during stuff like their version (dub that is) of Sailor Moon and The Super Mario Bros Super Show and plus i'm forbidden from seeing it permanently for now as it leads to Youtube Poop and exactly inappropriate memes like that which even also got me banned from surfing on the net for half a week in 2007, when replying to my post here, please no pictures and even links of logos guys, please, i beg of you, let's stay on topic and be positive . Now then, THAT certainly doesn't bother me anymore because the shows would themselves affect me (IMHO, i mean actually) defiantly in the exact same manner, no actually even more than those little things and as such it's not worth it talking about it for me anymore and for now i'm staying away from the majority from their output for good as of now, anyway. Also keep in mind, you guys would know that DIC is actually an abbreviation for Diffusion, Infusion et Communication but also keep in mind that this studio was NEVER an animation studio in the first place guys, instead they were mainly based in Paris, France and what they actually were was that of a radio distribution company that transmitted radio show performances and news and such and also handled Live Action stuff, in fact this was exactly mainly originally the studio and domain of founder and French radio writer Jean Chaoplin. Now for the conclusion, in the middle this turned into a sour flame gripe that i worry would start a flame war, i did not mean to start anything like that, and if i might've, i'm extremely sorry, but what really matters is that i posted at least my favorites i had from this studio to be on topic, and then gave you on what i then felt of this studio in general, i really all hope (and even non users here) fully understand what i meant in my post and really hope that was all okay with you guys, cause if it wasn't then feel free to delete this post. Oh and just in case it was okay with you all, this is all just my two cents here
