Have a Hard Rock Cafe in Your Town?
Hi! I figure we get a lot of people from all over the world on here, and I might as well take advantage of that! I like to collect the 4" tall shot glasses from the Hard Rock Cafes. They are small, generally inexpensive, and fun to look at. So, to expand my collection, I thought I would ask and see how many of you out there have a Cafe in your city. If you do, would you consider grabbing me a tall shot glass the next time you go in there? I would be happy to reimburse you all your costs and shipping... or give you a free years membership on the site. So, if you are willing, let me know via PM, and we'll get this going. FWIW, we had some friends in from France last week, and we dropped by the SLC HRC for lunch.... only iy wasn't there! They closed our cafe!!!!!

The next time I go to Seoul (which, hopefully, will be around the holidays), I'll try to remember to look for a Hard Rock... I'm not sure if they have one there or not...

I'm suddenly reminded of a weird housemate I had during college... In addition to listening exclusively to lesser-known 1970's rock bands, he used to collect the lids from pints of new Ben and Jerry ice cream flavors. He would keep them in a garbage bag in the closet of the bedroom we shared (I remember I had 5 housemates that year). At one point I suggested that he might try displaying them in some fashion; but he kinda just dismissed the idea. Dave, where do you keep your shot glasses? Do you have a rumpus room in your basement?

Sorry, Vancouver's Hard Rock Cafe closed down in June 2000 after five years. Collecting HRC pins would take up a lot less space... www.hardrockcafepins.com

There's a Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland right in Tower City Center, which may be expanding soon....
