I've never seen "Captain Underpants" before; so I take it, then, that the show is not usually broadcast on PBS?

It never was a showto my knowledge. This is just a fake credits for it-if it was a show. If it was a show-with all that toilet humor it certainly wouldn't be on PBS! Great series of books though.

Bugs Bunny cartoons are not supposed to feature a lisping Viking rabbit hunter enthusiastically professing his operatic love for a bunny in drag.

I knew it wasn't really a TV show from the start. And the reason I laughed was the statement of Captian Underpants being a TV show, especially on public television. One of the funniest parts is when a major movie chain was mentioned as a funder. Movie chains that big to me didn't look like that big of buisness in the 90's. And even if I'm wrong, I have never seen throughout my entire life a movie chain sponsoring a PBS show. And, it's obvious that no one has heard of a Captian Underpants cartoon. Yes, the franchise exists, but there was no cartoon for Captian Underpants. Captian Underpants never existed in 1995-1996, as it was the season stated on the summary of the video.

I'm surprised no one at the FOX network thought of doing a cartoon version. After all, they're the ones who came up with Greg the Bunny. To quote Krusty the Klown, "...they're known for taking their chances on crap!"
