My co-worker recently bought a bunch of items at an auction. She came across a 16mm film with the silly symphony emblem and hollywood film stamp on it. The title was Pluto's shower bath. It is not in any listings on any websites about this particlar film. Any info would be greatly appreciated, she was recently offered 5,000 for it so she was interested to see if it was worth it. On a side note also included in her purchase she came across another 16mm film from Safety Films titled "bonzo tanked" any info on this one would be cool also. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum, socsmil69! "Pluto's Shower Bath" just might be a retitled version of Donald's Dog Laundry (1940). Disney shorts were often retitled for home exhibition.

"Tanked" is a retitled Bonzo circa 1925. Regarding Bonzo, please note public records of what films were made in the series are severely incomplete at best. Us film collectors have many titles not listed on BCDB. Anyway, depending on the length of the Bonzo film, it may be worth around $15-$20. I'd be interested in buying it, please email me at CartoonsOnFilm-aol.com Thank you, Tom Stathes geocities.com/tomstathes
