Indian summer
Here in Gotham, we've been enjoying days of unseasonably warm weather. A week ago, we broke a record when the temp hit 70 degrees F., and we're poised for more warm weather today after another very mild weekend. I'm sure we'll be chilling down soon, but for now this has been a nice "Indian summer," especially after the freakish, and damaging, snowstorm we had before Halloween. Funny, though, how I haven't heard any reference to Indian summer. I wonder if this phrase I grew up with has become obsolete, or if it's a casualty of political correctness. Maybe both.

It's seasonably cold, now.. although whether or not we'll get any snow in time for Christmas is debatable.

Heh, it strange that it's colder down hear in Texas than it is up north. We've been getting some much needed rain, and this week it'll be in the 40s and 50s. I certainly don't mind the cold. I'm tired of all that heat from the summer and fall.

It hasn't snowed much yet in The Forest City, and to think...Sin City is gettin' ALL The Snow! PS-Forest City is an old nickname for Cleveland, which DID get snow, but not much accumilation...as a matter of fact, it was probably the nicest November I've ever seen. And Vegas is gettin' the snow now.
