It was an odd quirky toon done to a folk song. It was about a dinasor that kept eating mud and throwing mud pies. It was funny creative and wierd in a nice way. But what was it?

I believe it was a Snorky and the song was sung by Sonny and Cher. Truly the best of the series but it predates Sonny and Cher (and I doubt that peter, paul and Mary would be involved as it sounds.) Very imaginative cartoon with a great theme. I added info in the Beany entry for the cartoon. It's from 1962 and titled THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A SEA SERPENT (guest starring SNORKY). You can go to http://www.toontracker.com and click the ulldown emenu by TIGGER to see RealMedia showcase, and download RealMedia unless you already have it, and watch SNORKY,SNORKY
