Jetx now has WB

I've seen ads on Toon Disney that the Jetx(SP) block will now feature some of the early DC toons (Batman, Superman, etc.) in their fall lineup. These toons came from the WB studio. Wonder how they came up with that deal. Could more cross overs be in the future?

Well, it's not the entire WB library. It's only 3 shows; Superman and Batman:TAS as well as Pinky & the Brain (no Animaniacs or Freakazoid!, unfortunately). Most likely, this happened because these series weren't airing anywhere else and Disney simply bid for them. Disney currently owns the rights to many of the former Fox Kids shows such as Eek! the Cat, but isn't airing any of them except for Power Rangers. Disney is just sitting on these shows so that no competing networks can scoop them up and air them against their own programming.

Typical corporate move, buying your competition instead of making a better product. I hate how some studios do that. I really hurts the fans of those shows.

I hope Nickelodeon does that because having nothing but your studio-owned shows is a monopoly.
