A Late Bloomer to Disney Cartoon Classics
It's fair to say that I am a late bloomer.I was born in 1970,so many of the classic Disney cartoon shorts and feature films I found out about through Disneyland Book & Records, with story readers Robie Lester or Lois Lane. The actual cartoons I saw in later years. Many of them I now own on VHS and DVD. Here are the Disney cartoon classics I first discovered through Disneyland Book & Records, before seeing the actual cartoons themselves. Peter Pan The Three Little Pigs Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs Cinderella Alice In Wonderland Mickey & The Beanstalk The Ugly Duckling Brear Rabbit & The Tar Baby Winnie The Pooh The Aristo Cats Pinocchio Watching the original animated versions today definetly brings back childhood memories for me.

You're not that late. You were only born a year after me.

I'm a late bloomer too, but that's a different story.

Sorry I'm not a late bloomer. I guess I was blessed. I was 6 when the Mickey Mouse Club premiered in 1955. Besides watching the the Mickey Mouse Club every night it was also a tradition for the whole family to watch the Wonderful World Of Disney every Sunday night. I watched the Disney show (not faithfully) until it finally went off the air in 1983. Then I turned to the original Disney Channel. With my Beta VCR I recorded 7 or 8 tapes of Disney shorts. Yes, I'm a big Disney fan.
