Looking For 16mm TV Cartoon Shows
Hi There, I'm new to this site. I'm a collector of TV cartoon shows from the 60's to early 70's on 16mm or 35mm film. I was wondering if anyone know people who are selling these? (besides ebay). Does anyone know any TV show sellers in Australia, because I hear they have the largest collections. Some examples of what I'd like are "Bailey's Comets", "The Archie Comedy Hour", "The Sabrina And The Groovie Goolies Hour", "The Super 6", "Super President", "The Atom Ant Show", "The Secret Squirrel Show", "Wacky Races", or any others from that period. If anyone can help, I'd really, really appreciate it. If anyone prefer to email me, my name is Bernard and my email address is samuel-maxxconnect.net. Thank You! Bernard Williams

Welcome to the Forum, bernard! I know that you said "besides eBay," but that's actually a very good place to find TV cartoon shows on 16mm, if you know how to look for them. (For example, someone is selling episodes of the 1968 Fantastic Voyage cartoon series quite often.) To find them, use the keywords "16mm cartoon*", followed by the name of the particular show you're looking for. (The reason for the asterisk after "cartoon" is that this acts as a "wild card"; this will locate both the word "cartoon" and its plural, "cartoons.")

Hi eminovitz, Thanks for the information. I've been involved with ebay for 3 years now. I've gotten some good stuff from it, but I'd like to deal with private collectors. That way, I don't have to compete with bidders. Many times, it's the private collectors who have more rare stuff (especially cartoon shows with original commercials) and don't sell them on ebay.
