I am looking for a cartoon or anime, that has gritty/ grunge feel art.... (I may be describing this wrong, but i mean like the art in the cartoon network show Motorcity, and i like how they draw Julie particularly, or like the anime Soul Eater, and how they draw Soul and the sun). I prefer programmes that are like these two, with either fantasy elements or a futuristic sci-fi theme, but with a gritty feel/ content... i'm partial to some romance potential too hehe :P Any recommendations, I have been googling for a long while!

well, although it is not airing (you could find it on dvd or "elsewhere"), you can try the other series by Motorcity's creator, Downtown. Specifically MTV's Downtown. But it's not sci-fi or fantasy really. Another option is Megas XLR, which also involved Chris Prynoski (or however his name is spelled), but it's a little lighter in tone than the other two However, it has giant robots and an alien invasion, so it's definitely sci-fi.
