This is one of my all-time favorite Tex Avery cartoons, and thanks, bmode, for the images that are usually censored (or always) on TV. I wish I could find more images of Magical Maestro, but they're too small. If only they put these cartoons on DVD. A Tex Avery cartoon DVD would be nice, but for now I'm using VHS (Tex Avery's Screwball Classics).

I agree, a Tex Avery DVD would be really nice, and this cartoon would be a really important work for the DVD.

Well, if the upcoming Droopy DVD set turns out to be completely uncensored (and subsequently does well in sales), then perhaps a DVD set of the remaining Avery/MGM cartoons will be released in the near future.

I wouldn't doubt that there are many minorities who don't know or don't care about these cartoons poking fun at their culture. It's mostly whitey's idea. (Sorry that I'm ranting here.)
