Mass. college offers girls-only animation program You Must Register Before You Can Post

"Animation Matters!," one of six separate summer programs designed specifically for girls and young women, is being offered by Bay Path College, based in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

"Animation Matters!" is a morning, week-long, introductory program that will teach students the basics of digital animation. If you are interested in learning how movies like Wall-E and Ratatouille were made and want to hang with girls your own age, this half-day program is for you.

The July 6 through 10 program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and is for young women entering sixth, seventh and eighth grade. The August 3 through 7 program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and is for young women in high school.

For more information, fees and registration forms, visit www.baypath.edu, or contact Briana Sitler, director of special programs, at (413) 565-1066 or bsitler-baypath.edu.
