Hey, I'm looking for a movie bout a cursed tree in a forest with some kind of evil sealed inside it but foresters come and cut down the trees and there are people/fairies that try to stop the evil and the foresters. it's something like that anyway. Any suggestions are welcome.

That's Ferngully: The Last Rainforest from 1992 by FAI Films. The evil spirit Hexxus was sealed inside a gnarly tree many years ago. However, modern loggers come upon the tree and cut it down. This releases Hexxus, who takes control of the logging machine. The fairies that protect the forest come together to resist Hexxus's offensive. Young Zack, a young man who had been working with the loggers, meets the fairy Crysta, and realizes that his actions are destroying a critical ecosystem. Zack joins the fairies in fighting against Hexxus.
This animated film is available on DVD, moderately priced.
