NFL 2011

It's that time again to hear this song.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIxeOvClzR4 Though there was NO Hall-of-Fame game due to the damn lockout earlier...the NFL decided to play football so we can have a Super Bowl this year! My question is... Who migh win it all and where will your team rank? I have the answer to my team...The Browns... If our QB Colt McCoy plays like he did against the Detroit Lions in exhibition, he may be givig the Browns a mediocre-at-best season...we STILL need some good players, but with Mike Holmgren as manager of the Browns, we may be Super Bowl-bound one day...and not the one Larry the Cable Guy talks about.

A prominent SI writer picked the Falcons to win the Super Bowl this season. Even though they went 0-4 in the pre-season, since those games mean absolutely nothing, I don't think anyone noticed really, lol.

Well...The "Browns" tended to disappoint me again in the 1st Game. The lost against The Bengals!

The bears beat the Falcons in game 1, pretty good too. But this weekend's game is probably the one everyone is gonna watch- it's the marquee matchup actually in the NFL for week 2- Falcons and Eagles, in Atlanta.

The Browns did better against The Colts...well...No Peyton Manning...no Colts it seems. But The Detroit Lions...2-0...are they for real?

Gotta love the Falcons beating the Eagles! Even sweeter since the Falcons won as a direct result of Mike Vick's two fumbles!

Browns won by a point against Miami! Will The Browns be Super Bowl-Bound? It's too soon to tell, but they may be the shocker of the year.

Falcons lost. It's becoming painfully obvious that we have a VERY ineffective O-line. No run game b/c of it not to mention that Ryan (our QB) gets knocked around like a rag doll. One good thing though- Vick is out for a good while b/c he left with a broken hand today.

All I can say for my team is this... Their Season's Flushed like every season since 1999! Looks like The "Browns" will NEVER see a Super Bowl that's NOT made of Porcelain! Even The Lions will make it first!

Thanks for the thought. As it turns out, I didn't watch Big Blue's debacle last Monday. That night was unseasonably warm, as was most of November, and the restaurant I hang at (and where I would've watched the game) had its outdoor tables set up. So I dined under the trees, and beyond the range of TV, and thus enjoyed my evening. Frankly, my Giants season ended when they couldn't mount an offense against a Vick-less Philly squad the week before. People are politely dancing around the "collapse" label for this season's Giants, but it's clear 2011 is ending as a total crash 'n' burn. The NY Giants have nothing but stiff competition for the remainder of the season—they'll be lucky to split their remaining pair of games against Dallas. The NY Jets have the same 6-5 record, but their remaining games are against under .400 teams—they actually have a shot. As for the Giants…
Ouch!! OUCH!! The Giants go down with their year-end in flames!

The Giants go down with their year-end in flames! I know how you feel... This "West Coast" Offense ISN'T Working In The Great Lakes Region...it seems The "Browns" must win by Field Goals...and I wonder how Pat Shurmur would have a job in Cleveland who is Championship-Hungry for 47 Years if he wasn't successful in The Gateway City? PS-I hope you weren't seeing the Packers getting their 12th Win...and if so...I might request a pic of Thomas "Jasper" Cat and his reaction to The "Perfect" Packers as they got defeated by The Giants. (I just feel sooooo sorry for The New York Football Teams, despite The Giants Win over The Imperfect Patriots in 2007...coming from a city that CAN'T win in 45+ years).

However, at this writing, the NY Jets are 7-5 and—although not in control of their destiny—they're still in the hunt. We'll see how long that lasts!

Once again I've provided proof of why I don't gamble. A month ago I asserted that the NY Giants' season was in meltdown mode and that the NY Jets were better positioned for a post-season berth. Wrong again (twice!). During the final Sunday of the regular season the Jets fizzled in Miami in a must-win game while the Giants prevailed convincingly over Dallas to snatch the last remaining divisional championship with a less-than-convincing 9-7 record. I guess no one else wanted it bad enough. Anyway, the Giants will be playing in Atlanta next week. I never would have guessed this, but that's why I don't gamble.

I'm rootin' for The Bengals...and this time...for keeps! The "Browns" being 0-6 in The AFC North and 4-12 in the Season was NOT an Improvement. That's why I put this up sometimes on my FB Page....
And I made a song parody about it, feel free to comment!... http://amiright.com/...nthemiracles12.shtml I can't believe I trash my own home teams! Go Cavs!

Oops. My bad, though we need all the help we can get. Don't worry... The Giant ARE in the playoffs, they advanced to The Division...but The Giants play 15-1 Packers! And how Ironic is Tim Tebow gatting 316 Yards and averaged 31.6 Yards for completion?

Well...we're in The Final Four of 2012! Ravens vs. Patriots! 49ers vs. Giants! No matter what...I'm rootin' for the NFC Team! I can't stand the REAL Browns (Baltimore Ravens, in which Fart Modell took his talents and REAL Browns to The East Coast or The Unpatriots winning it all...after their Imperfect Season, they shouldn't win). So...Go Giants, or 49ers and win one for ANOTHER finger!

I still cannot believe the Giants actually won that game. Who would have guessed that they would beat the Packers, especially like that? Ah well, time for the 49ers to beat them good and then lose to the Patriots, most likely.

I gave up on the Giants after their non-contest with the Eagles back in Nov. But now, under Manning's 11th hour heroics, they're running the table—again. If the NY defense stays on the program, they can win two more. The Giants are now the scary team.

My dad's the Giants fan in the family. I'm rather neutral about football. I do find it rather amusing that once again my birthday is going to fall on the Superbowl this year.

I'm going for the NFC Team. I'm glad that The Ravens lost so that means...no ring for Fart Modell but that means Bellicheat may win...I hope not, because it would be cool to see the 49ers to win one for their other hand!

It's Super Bowl XLII...AGAIN! And this time...I'll go for New York! I'll be making Manhattan Clam Chowder for the Super Bowl Party at my Church. Any good New York Recipies for me to make that are simple? (I won't be making anything from Boston nor the New England region...I'm NOT rootin' for The Patriots)!
