New Hub Schedule Starting March 3rd
|

TVGuide.com’s listings show that The Hub is making major changes to their Saturday morning line-up starting March 3. This is the morning that The Aquabats! Super Show! premieres as well. Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony and Pound Puppies will all be moving three hours down, which is certainly good news for west coast fans of the Ponies (1pm Eastern is 10am Pacific!). New Saturday morning line-up starting March 3: 6:00AM G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero 6:30AM Transformers – Generation 1 7:00AM Transformers Prime 7:30AM The Super Hero Squad Show 8:00AM The Super Hero Squad Show 8:30AM Batman (1960s) 9:00AM Dan Vs. 9:30AM Batman: The Animated Series 10:00AM Transformers Rescue Bots (New Episodes) 10:30AM Transformers Rescue Bots 11:00AM The Aquabats! Super Show! (New Episodes) 11:30AM The Twisted Whiskers Show 12:00PM Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures (New Episodes) 12:30PM Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures 1:00PM My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (New Episodes) 1:30PM My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic 2:00PM Pound Puppies 2:30PM Pound Puppies 3:00PM Family Game Night After 4pm, the schedule remains the same, minus a repeat of The Aquabats! Super Show! at 11:00PM. (All times are Eastern. Schedule is always subject to change.) I'm personally looking forward to Aquabats; I've been getting into their music these past several months, and I'm intrigued by the previews I've been seeing. Dan VS. seems like an odd fit for Saturday morning, but at least it will be easier for me to catch it then at 8PM.

The Hub needs a West Coast feed. I have DirecTV, which as of yet doesn't even offer the channel in high definition. Hasbro is taking a bit of a gamble by airing Dan VS in a SatAM time slot. Despite there being no blood, extreme violence or profanity on the show (the worst that language has gotten thus far is when Dan said "crap" in last week's episode) much of the humor on Dan VS is kind of dark for it to be considered a kids' show. We'll just have to wait and see how well that series will be received on a kid vid time slot.
