Obama references 'Lion King' at recent dinner You Must Register Before You Can Post

At the 2011 White House Press Correspondents' Dinner, President Barack Obama laid to rest any questions about his American citizenship when he flashed a copy of his recently released Hawaiian birth certificate.

He then proceeded to dispel any "lingering doubts" by showing the assembled guests his "official birth video", which he claimed had not been seen by anyone in 50 years:

I do hate to dilute the humorous impact of your post, D, but I'm a bit dense and actually need it explained to me(!) Blush

Basically there's an urban legend that on "Strawberry Fields Forever" near the end, John can be heard saying "I burried Paul." In reality he's saying "Cranberry sauce."

Re: Obama references 'Lion King' at recent dinner [In reply to] You Must Register Before You Can Post

"Paul is Dead" is actually the title of the hoax itself.

One of the "clues" is that near the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever" John is supposedly muttering "I burried Paul." to be exact.

There's a webpage based upon this hoax as well as others, it's called...

This was probably the first forum site that I blogged on, since I'm a Beatles Fan. (It may be odd that McCartney may be the last Beatle to go).
