     R.I.P. Disney Vault 1985-2015

Smile Here's a link I showed it to everyone from DeviantArt who are big fans of Disney: http://ddd1988.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d48hqdf

The Walt Disney Company has been announced that another 8 of Walt Disney Animation Studios' animated motion pictures are being released to DVD & Blu-ray Disc for 2012/2013, but for the rest of its Diamond Edition titles that'll last only for a limited time period of 2 years each before being put back to the Disney Vault on the 15th of March each for 2014/2015. And yet, in anticipation of the upcoming creation of their first-generation "Walt Disney Special Editions" line of over 37 full releases of over 40 animated motion pictures on DVD & Blu-ray Disc and Movie Download in 2013, the "Disney Vault" was being discontinued in March 30, 2015; for example, Disney's The Little Mermaid will see another theatrical release in 2012 (which was first seen in theatres for a limited-time period of two weeks before being released on DVD & Blu-ray Disc), but there won't be anymore theatrical re-releases of animated motion pictures from the "Walt Disney Animation Studios" canon after that.

Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios are finally selecting approx. 25 of Disney's entirely-animated theatrical motion pictures, 4 of Disney's real-life action theatrical motion pictures with sequences in animation, and an anthology of animated shorts featuring Classic Disney characters that'll each gain an entirely-animated theatrical motion picture spin-off for each one, and would all mark as its grand total of approx. 30 entirely-animated theatrical motion picture spin-offs (which would all get to use "Toon Boom Animation" software that combines traditional animation with computer-animated techniques, and are all being planned and in-progress with filming to start with .ver 6 of these films each year for 5 years except that they'll take 2 1/2 years each before being completed and released theatrically). In anticipation of over 30 entirely-animated theatrical motion picture spin-offs that are being released theatrically by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios with approx. 6 per year for the second-half parts of over 5 years (2014-2018), there will be over 37 full releases worth of over 40 animated motion pictures from the first-generation Walt Disney Special Editions line that are all being released on the following 4 formats (2-disc DVD edition, 2-disc DVD/2-disc Blu-ray, 2-disc Blu-ray/2-disc DVD, and Movie Download) from "Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment" between 2014 and 2018.

This is the second time you've posted this information. Please don't create multiple threads on the same topic; especially when the information is as dubious as yours.

I can't see that happening. The whole vault thing has been a Disney tradition ever since the Walt Disney Classics video series started in 1984:

When Michael Eisner came on board that year, Disney wasn't going to hop on the home video bandwagon without a fight; for years they resisted putting many of their animated features on home video, or showing them on TV in their entirety. This is why some of the Disney classics took FOREVER to come out on video (need I mention "The Aristocats?")
