Seth MacFarlane to reboot "The Flintstones"

In 2013, get ready for Yabba-Dabba...Stew??
It seems that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has been given the go-ahead to reboot that modern Stone Age family, The Flintstones, for FOX.

A lot of people I know are mortified by this news, but myself not being a huge fan of either Seth MacFarlane or The Flintstones, I can't really say that I'm greatly affected by it.
The guy got his start working for Hanna-Barbera, and he's said to be a big fan of the show, so I imagine he can't do it too big an injustice. When you think about it, all of MacFarlane's shows follow the same basic template as The Flintstones, only raunchier and with cutaways.

I never cared for the original Flintstones, either. Same really goes for almost any HB cartoon, with the exception of their version of Tom and Jerry. Do you mean the original MGM theatrical cartoons or their later, lackluster TV incarnation? ------------------------- "I'd like to cover you with furs and automobiles!"
