Shows that make you say what!?!

When I say "make you go what!?!" I mean shows that make you say "what the heck is this", or "what did I just watch!?."One show that made me say this was Cartoon Networks very decent show Adventure Time. The craziness and crude humor kept me laughing the whole time!Another one was "the amazing world of Gumball"one thing I liked about the show was the real life setting, but with cartoon characters.Another thing about it were the characters.Like a goth ghost,a talking dinosaur and also a talking baloon! At one point I thought that Cartoon was soon to lose my attention, but now that I have gave the future CN a chance, I noticed that the new stuff is not as bad as I thought it would be.So tell me, what shows made you say what?I would like to check out some new shows of the same type as these I have just talked about.

Are you talking "What!?!" as a positive thing or a negative thing or both?

What you see depends on what you're looking for.

Regular Show - A series starring a 23-year-old 6 foot tall blue jay and his buddy, a talking raccoon who work in a park in which their supervisor is a living gumball machine and the park's owner is a lollipop headed man and the 2 co-workers are a green-skinned muscle bound dimwit and his buddy, a Pac Man type of ghost with hand potruding from his head. This show is just plain weird, but cool and funny at the same time. RS is weird in a cool way, as opposed to Adventure Time, which is too often more strange funny than "Ha-ha" funny, no offense to any of it's fans.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned The Amazing World of Gumball yet. That show's filled to the brim with "WTF?!" sauce. The main protagonists are a family composed of anthropomorphic blue cats and pink rabbits, save for the adopted son who was formerly the family's pet goldfish until he randomly sprouted legs, gained the ability to breathe air and became sentient. The town the show is set in, Elmore, is entirely populated by animals, food products and assorted thingamabobs, among them: an antlered peanut, a banana, a robot, T-Rex and a ghost. Gumball's teacher is a 300,000+ year-old monkey and his next door neighbors are a pair of cranky puppets who look like Sesame Street rejects. Admittedly, I do find the total lack of cartoon humans in Elmore to be somewhat off-putting (I'd have preferred a setting similar to the works of Akira Toriyama, in which the populace is mostly humans with the occasional anthro or assorted thingies thrown in--the Shrek universe follows a similar formula) and the random collision of multiple visual styles (some characters are cartoons, some are puppets, some are CGI and others are stop-motion) is a tad jarring, but it's a cute show with some funny moments.
