Small Hunter followed by jumping bird (Inki)

Looking for the name of a cartoon featuring a small hunter who I believe was chasing a small worm. More and more animals join in the chase and are marching in a line and every now and again they all jump in sequence.

Welcome to the Forum, Waresti! I'd be rich if I got a dollar every time somebody asked me about this cartoon. It's Inki And The Minah Bird (Merrie Melodies; Warner Bros., 1943). Inki is an African child who runs into a denture-wearing lion while hunting with a spear. The lion then chases the young native all over creation. The Minah Bird joins forces with Inki against the mighty lion, but proceeds to mess everything up for all. Yes, there's a worm. He's chased by the Minah Bird, who's chased by Inki, who's chased by the lion...

My bad... Was there a worm in Caveman Inki, though? There definitely was one in Inki and the Minah Bird...

Hmm. Sounds like Waretsi may be mixing up 2 different cartoons. There's definitely some Inki and the Minah Bird in there, but the part about hunting a worm and a plethora of other animals joining in the chase sounds like another work of the great Chuck Jones, Fair and Wormer. Premise: In this early parody of formulaic chase cartoons, a worm goes after an apple, a crow goes after the worm, a cat goes after the crow, a dog goes after the cat, and a dogcatcher goes after the dog, all of which is periodically interrupted by a mouse chasing the dogcatcher's wife and the occasional hop-ons by a Pepe le Pew-esque skunk. Hope that clears things up a little.
