Spies and Detectives
First...is there a difference between a detective and a spy? Second...there are many cartoons featuring spies such as Secret Squirrel, Orson T. Pig's Double O Orson, James Bond Jr., and Boris and Natasha. Then there are detectives such as The Inspector, Basil from "The Great Mouse Detective", and even Snoopy dressed-up as a detective on "It's a Mystery Charlie Brown". Any other good spies and detectives in cartoons?

Danger Mouse just so happened to be a secret agent. I recall Garfield playing a detective called Sam Spayed on his special Babes and Bullets. There was a Roland and Rattfink short called "A Pair of Sneakers" in which Roland played a good spy while Rattfink naturally played a bad one. Of course there's also Perry the Platypus--AKA Agent P.
