Thunderbirds Are No Longer Go. You Must Register Before You Can Post

Gerry Anderson, the creator of Supercar, Stingray, and of course, Thunderbirds, has died at age 83.

Along with his wife, Sylvia, Anderson was the brains behind Supermarionation, a technique by which puppets moved and acted like real human actors. The shows no longer air on TV, but are fondly remembered by those who saw them. RIP, Mr. Anderson. I'm Crying

OMG.

Harry Oakes, the cinematographer for Thunderbirds and other Gerry Anderson series, died two weeks ago (December 11) at 91.

The old boys are all disappearing.
