Time travel, animals, evil master, future city

The cartoon was about a group of animals, perhaps led by a lion? They traveled through the past (the middle ages?) to search for artifacts, but they are followed by an evil woman in a spacecraft(?) who is the servant to an evil master, Lucifer(?).
She, the woman, is from some sort of future city which is heavily guarded, her spacecraft is above the city. There might be a prison somewhere?
I vaguely remember something about chinatown? And a prison planet (with a name like "sector" or something like that).
The woman might have a servant, a goblin or some sort of green guy, that sometimes pretend to be on the good side, a double agent or something like that.
Do anyone know the name of this show? I would be forever grateful!

Future setting
Time travel
Sounds alot like many of the
anime series which borrow
heavily from the old popular
Time Bokan series
It sounds alot like
Flint the Time Detective
Hammerhead Rock
but he was a little caveboy, not a lion.

Probably in the late 90s/early 20s, but that's in Norway so it might not be that relevant.
I don't think it was an anime, but I'll talk a bit with my brother about it.
I don't think the main characters were treasure hunters, but perhaps just searching for those artifacts so they could get back home? I'm sorry for being vague, but I barly remember this.
Also I do remember something about them being in a bar in the future-city, but then suddently disapear (in time).
