I am a student writing an essay on the musical techinques in tom and jerry.
Anyone who has tom and jerry scores or info on how to get them would be helpful.

Welcome

As I understand it, the best place to get the music scores is at the University of Southern California archives.

I recommend reading this post:

Ned Comstock's the fella you wanna contact, at the USC archive. A real friendly guy.

They've got complete scores going back to about 1939 (& some selected ones before that).

Though, as of 1995 (when I was last there), they had only the composer's own piano scores (with NO annotations by the animators), and the individual orchestra parts.
