Not sure why, but I added a BCDB Twitter account.
Twitter
Now you can follow all the news via twitter... and some other fun things, too. Any problems on the site will be noted real-time, with estimates of when the problems will be fixed. Hopefully not too many of those posts!
So if you are on Twitter, follow BCDB!

Pardon me- I think your age is showing!
Twitter is a social networking site that allows one to post 140-character "twits" (?) about what is going on. Someone interested subscribes, and gets updates on the latest going on.
I am using it to echo the latest News posts. I am also posting a cartoon of the day- a cartoon released on the current date in history. If the site status changes (God forbid, it goes down or something!), it gives YOU a way to let me know.... or lets me let users know I am working on the problem, and give an estimated time of fix or whatever.
SO it is an alternate communications avenue.

Twitter is available on mobile browsers at m.twitter.com. Give it a shot. It's not phone specific, but would be the phones browser that matters.
