After only 10 months in the job, Lisa Judson is leaving as president of Warner Bros. Animation, Variety reported Thursday. Her responsibilities will be consolidated under Warner Bros. Television president Peter Roth, the studio confirmed. Judson plans to return to New York, from which she moved to take her latest job, the studio added. Before working for Warner Bros., she was senior vice-president of marketing at AOL. Roth's responsibilities will now include oversight of all non-feature animation. This will include such series as Batman: The Brave and the Bold for Cartoon Network (owned by Time Warner), direct-to-DVD releases, and online and new media animation, as well as live-action shows based on WB's animated series. That's in addition to WB's primetime production and Warner Horizon Television. Roth will not begin officially supervising animation until June 1. The studio noted that this will let him focus on primetime development before the major networks' upfront presentations next month. Among his earliest work was involvement in children's programming for a decade at ABC, starting in the mid-1970s.

Tough break. I hope Sander Schwartz doesn't return! Or worse, Bill Hendricks could return from the grave and take over!
