Ward Kricket and the Firebug 5 You Must Register Before You Can Post

This mystery image is from the "365 Days of Ward Kimball" site. It appears to be a xeroxed and painted cel, showing Ward Kimball (as his famed creation Jiminy Cricket) playing trombone for the Firehouse 5 + 2. But does anyone know where it comes from? Was it a one-off cel, created as a tribute to Ward? Or was it actually part of an animated sequence - perhaps never shown?

I'm inclined to the idea that it was done as a tribute to Ward, either for a birthday or perhaps after his death in 2002. But does anyone know anything solid about it?
