We do have a couple rules we would like you to keep in mind when posting to our pages.
In order to use all the features of this Forum, you must first register to post to the forum.
A valid email address is required. Email is our only contact to you. If you do not provide a valid email address, you will not be able to post to this Forum. You are responsible for ensuring that the email address you provide continues to work; if we attempt to contact you and the email is returned, your account will be suspended or removed.
While we want to encourage a lively debate of issues, we will not tolerate personal attacks against our members. We do not approve of any online flames, harassment or attacks- even in jest. We will take action against any user who posts flames or is disrespectful of other users. If you have a problem with another user, please take it immediately to the moderator or admin, they will take care of it via a private message.... do not try and handle through the Forums or Private Messages with the other user!
Any discussion of politics and religion on this forum- except in relation to how they are portrayed in cartoons- is not allowed on this forum.
Please be aware this is a family board, and we would like you to treat it as such. We expect you to post with the knowledge that children will be reading what you wrote. Foul and abusive language is not appropriate to our boards. Please do not post any profanity at all in the TOPIC/SUBJECT of your post. If you really feel the need, you may include profanity in the body of the post as long as it is not used excessively, or directed towards another member.
Please, no posts asking for or offering to trade tapes, cd's or DVD's.
We will not tolerate any activity of an illegal nature on this board. Specifically, do not post anything that infringes on any copyrighted material. It is ok to discuss copyrighted material, and even use small quotes or other examples.... but we will not accept any posts that attempt to sell, buy, request, find, search for or use unlicensed copies of artwork, MP3's, cd's, dvd's or videotapes. Any violation of this rule may result in the immediate suspension of the user from this board.
Additionally, we do not allow ANY posting related to the downloading of cartoons, or questions about where to do so. The ONLY acception to this rule is posting of the URL's to cartoons officially released on the website of the studio that made the cartoon, or their designated download sites such as quicktime.com. Release information on new trailers is an example of an acceptable posting.
Any discussion pertaining to copying of ANY video or audio source, defeating of copy protection in any form, or how to obtain related equipment is forbidden. In addition, the discussion of bootleg material is prohibited in this forum in any form. Such posts will be deleted automatically without explanation.
No one is to post any information to this forum on how or where to obtain illegal video product that is considered bootlegged/pirated. Furthermore, no-one is to post information to this forum that gives specific instructions on making illegal video copies to any audio & video format.
The inclusion of pictures within posts is allowed on this forum. Referring (Hot-Linking) to images on other sites is very bad form, and this practice is prohibited. This not only uses up bandwidth between sites but often the images are copyrighted and protected by the referring site.
The inclusion of excerpts from an article on another site is allowed as long as credit is given to the author of the original article(s). Copying an entire article(s) from another site and pasting it on the forum is not allowed, without the express permission of the owner of the copyrighted article. If you want the membership to read the full article provide a link back to the original article instead.
Dealer advertising is prohibited in the posting area of the forum (unless cleared by the ownership of the forum first). This includes links to items for sale (either on an e-commerce site, a personal website or individual items on an auction site such as e-Bay) in either a signature or message.
Our Forum rules and guidelines are not open for debate. This is not a democracy, but rather a private forum. Anyone openly debating or criticizing our rules we have set in place will be suspended or removed.
Moderators of this forum are not to be argued with when enforcing forum rules and guidelines. Anyone arguing with a Moderator regarding disciplinary measures will be removed from the forum.
