I have just heard that Gregor Robertson, the mayor of Vancouver, has officially named today "Ethan Day" for all of British Columbia. OK, so maybe just for Vancouver and Victoria. OK, so maybe Mr. Robertson didn't proclaim anything today....
But it IS ETHAN DAY- and a Happy Birthday to super-Mod Ethan! Thanks for all you do and contribute!

During the 2005 British Columbia election campaign, I volunteered for Mr. Robertson's successful legislative bid and saw him frequently. (He quit in 2008 to run for mayor.) Since then, we've crossed paths from time to time; once, I happened to sit beside him and his wife at a play.
But did the Mayor send me happy birthday greetings today? NO!

Celebrations and congratulations are in order today. Let us give unto Ethan respects and accolades, because Ethan has given us so many facts and heads-up's on animation. Pages and pages of cartoon truth, often delivered with his ticklish tongue-in-cheek humor. Does Diogenes know about you, sir?
