2 or 3 kids, or cute animals, arrive at a bridge guarded by a wizard, i believe, and for him to allow them to cross they must answer some question/riddle of his. Can't remember much else about it but I do recall it touching me profoundly, for the answer the kids gave to the wizard was very funny in a philosophical way, at least from what I can recall now, and the face the wizard pulls after the funny surprise answer was very convincing in hilarity.
I've looked through YouTube's collection of Sesame Street cartoons but I couldn't detect anything from the search results display page, and I certainly wouldn't watch all the clips for there are far too many...

That's very easy, it's the Bridgekeeper. There were three sketches from Sesame Street. All three are on youtube. If you search for "Sesame Street Bridgekeeper" on google you will get them easily.
