Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the animated Avengers series which currently airs on Disney XD's Marvel Universe block, has been canceled. The series will finish its' run at 52 episodes.
The reason for the abrupt termination of A:EMH is so Marvel can launch a new animated series, Avengers Assemble, which is said to be more or less the movie in animated form.
