Looney Tunes in real life You Must Register Before You Can Post

I'm just curious. If the Looney Tunes didn't work at Warner Bros. and were real, what kind of jobs would they have in the real world? Here are my current ideas:

Quote
--Daffy is a bum on the street.
--Lola is part of the WNBA.
--Wile works at an ACME factory,
--Sam owns a casino like in Back in Action.

What do YOU guys think?

Bugs would be a professional gambler, having displayed his considerable talents in Barbary-Coast Bunny (1956) and Bonanza Bunny (1959).

He could also use his vast experience -- from many WB cartoons -- to consider a career as a female impersonator.

Daffy Duck would be an ACME product pitchman (duck), promoting a product called "ScamWoW"! Tongue

I see Sam working at a Western Museum and doing re-enactments of gun fights and robberies. Although, he wouldn't know it's all for show.

Daffy could be a used car salesman.

Bugs will be a lawyer helping those who are being bullied.

Wile is an ACME products tester.

Re: Looney Tunes in real life [In reply to] You Must Register Before You Can Post

For what it's worth, Lola Bunny had been proposed as an official mascot for the Women's NBA during its inception. However, since Lola Bunny was a trademarked character of Warner Brothers Entertainment, the WNBA would have had to make a formal request to use that character, and pay a licensing fee, plus a percentage of any revenue generated from the use of Lola Bunny.

Under such circumstances, the WNBA desisted any connection with Lola Bunny. The twelve teams that currently comprise the WNBA have their own mascots, none of which are lagomorphs.

Well, actually my question is drived on what would the Looney Tunes do in real life and not working at Warner Bros. And if Lola didn't work at WB, I would have had her as a player in the WNBA

I could see Porky as either a mailman or a therapist/psychologist. "And h-h-h-how does that make you feel?Smile
I could also see Yosemite Sam as the leader of some sort of motorcycle gang.

Foghorn Leghorn could be a campaign manager (are you listening, Newt?), and Pepe Le Pew could write Harlequin romances.

Bugs Bunny would be the host of a prank show. In fact, it would probably be the best prank show in existence.

I could easily see Foghorn Leghorn as a politician, perhaps as a governor of Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama, or as a Senator of such states.

Bugs Bunny could easily be a very popular stand-up comedian.

Pepe Le Pew would be a marriage counselor or run a couples' retreat.

Marvin the Martian could either run the space program.

Porky Pig could be a spee-uh-spee-uh-spee-ee-uh-help people talk more properly.

Speedy Gonzalez would probably be a mechanic. Or run a construction company.

Marc Anthony (the big bulldog from "Feed the Kitty") could easily work in a hospital nursery.

Re: Looney Tunes in real life [In reply to] You Must Register Before You Can Post

This is a fun, "what-if", fantasy thread. But what people don't know is it actually came true for 2 of the studio's earliest characters. Bosko retired from Animated Films and ended up making a poplular American chocolate drink. Unfortunately, Harman and Ising still owned the rights to his name so he had to change the "K" to a "C".

Buddy's story is more tragic I'm afraid. Despite being an unpopular (some, not me, would even say "bland" and "boring") cartoon character, he grew into a skilled guitarist and innovative songwriter, enjoyed phenomenal sucess in the late 50's with his band The Crickets, influenced the fledgling teenage Beatles and died way too young in a plane crash in February 1959.
