Going back to what Arthur said about "Duck Tales" in his original post, I have to slightly disagree. First of all, I so prefer the last season. It might be because it was the one, that I grew up with, or because I just love Fenton Crackshell. But even disregarding that, it feels like the later episodes were stronger than the earlier ones. I mean, even Bubba had a handful of good episodes! The first season felt like it was made solely for children, while the last season felt more grown-up. I don't mean that children still couldn't watch it and enjoy it, but it feels like this season was made for an older audience as well. And as for Magica DeSpell, I think I prefer the Beagles and even Flintheart Glamgold over her. But of course, Magica was interesting enough too for an episode here and there.
