help in looking for this cartoon

Hi, I'm trying to find this particular scifi cartoon. The plot is about how the human race is living in the moon becuase the planet is either been taken over by an alien race or by robots. The main character is part of an invasion force to take back Earth. However, the invasion fleet was defeated but the main character was able to arrive on Earth and the story surrounds him. As I recalled, he has human sized mecha or something like that. Also, I remembered when he first arrived on earth, he felt rain for the first time.....and thats about it. Please help me identify the name of this cartoon. thanks

The Earth is occupied by a powerful invading alien race called the Inivd. Mankind has made an outpost on Mars to wage a war against the Invid, and take back the Earth. A young ace mecha pilot, Stick/Stig and his fiancé enter an intense battle, but only Stick/Stig survives. Stick decides to go on a mission to Earth to strike a blow against the Invid, even though he knows it will be a suicide mission. Once on Earth, he heads toward the Invid stronghold and gradually gathers other human survivors along the way. They form a rag-tag platoon. The group comes across a crashed Invid fighter and find a human survivor. The woman bears a striking resemblance to Sticks late fiancé and seems to have amnesia. A relationship develops between Stick and the mystery woman as she tries to remember who she is. Later, she’s devastated to discover her true heritage when she finds that she bleeds green blood… Invid blood.

The "Robotech" English Language version of "Mospeada" was titled "The Robotech Masters" arc.
Scott Bernard was the name of the lead hero, Marlene was his fiance look-a-like. Rook (blonde girl), Rand (Rook's brother), Lunk (big guy), and Annie (the little girl with the E.T. cap) assisted Scott in his alien battles. The motorcycles Scott, Rook, and Rand rode on can turn into mecha battle suits.
Yellow Dancer (a male who performed as a purple-haired female pop singer on stage) figured prominently.
