A real cartoon world? You Must Register Before You Can Post

Hi, i want to know if by any chance is there a place on earth where one can walk into the cartoons? I mean the cartoon brought into existence entirely to get you the feel that you are walking inside a cartoon. Let me know if something so exists. I'm an architect and i'm planning for such a concept. Thanks in advance.Smile

A real cartoon world? [In reply to] You Must Register Before You Can Post

Flintstones Bedrock City in Custer, South Dakota has been in existence for 45 years!

Visit flintstonesbedrockcity.com for more information.

Another is in northern Arizona: www.roadsideamerica.com/story/11289

There were also a couple of Bedrock Cities in my home province of British Columbia, but they lost the rights to the Flintstones characters after Hanna-Barbera was sold to Warner Bros in 1994. One near Chilliwack, B.C. became Dinotown (without the Flintstones characters), but even that is closing down on September 6!

A book, Bedrock City, has been published about the art and architecture of the title attraction: www.cartoonbrew.com/books/bedrock-city.html

Informative! [In reply to] You Must Register Before You Can Post

Thanks a lot. That was really informative. But i have come up with a different concept. I was wondering if something exactly what i'm doing existed. The one you showed was entirely on land and open spaces. So here the soil and sky are real world's. Its going to be different with mine. Anyways thanks again.
