You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

    Hi,
This might not be quite the right forum since I "know" the cartoon that I am looking for. The problem is I can find no information that it even existed. Nothing on IMDB, Wikipedia or here. In 1983 a special did air on NBC. It was basically a pilot for a series that was never picked up. This special had nothing to do with Christmas.

This is what I remember: I remember seeing a commercial for a Coneheads special which I have in my head as being a Christmas special. I also seem to remember the commercials being on a syndicated channel. I don't recall if I ever watched the show or not. I was too young at the time to know about SNL or who the Coneheads were, so this would have been the first time I ever heard of them. I distinctly remember the commercial using one of their signature lines about "consuming mass quantities". I suppose I could be misremembering things concerning the 1983 special, but I don't think so. 1983 seems too early for me to remember a show like this and it seems odd that I would have known about a show that aired in prime time and was not intended for kids. If I had to guess, I think it would have aired a few years later, like 1986 or so.

So does anyone else remember this special? Or was this some sort of hallucination on my part?

Yes, there was a Coneheads Christmas special. It was produced by Rankin -
Bass. Info about it can be found in the book "The Enchanted World Of Rankin-Bass."

Thanks for the response. I took a quick look at a copy of the book on Amazon. All I could see was a table of contents, but it looks like this is the 1983 pilot episode that I mentioned, and not a Christmas special.

Possible. I think I might have to chalk this one up to false memory.
