We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

It started with basically "Fritz the Cat" and "Heavy Metal". And now we have some adult cartoon movies like "The Simpsons Movie", "Aqua Team Hunger Force", and "Eight Crazy Nights".

Are there other adult cartoon movies?

    ~ Howdy, Folks!
One of my favorite animated features for adults is Fantastic Planet (French: La Planète sauvage), lit. The Wild Planet) is a 1973 cutout stop motion science fiction allegorical film directed by René Laloux, production designed by Roland Topor, written by both of them and animated at Jiří Trnka Studio. The film was an international production France and Czechoslovakia and was distributed in the United States by Roger Corman. It won the special jury prize at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival. The story is based on the novel Oms en série, by the French writer Stefan Wul. A working title for the film while it was in development was Sur la planète Ygam (On the Planet Ygam). The soundtrack is classic 1970's psychedelia while the English-dubbed audio from the original release is unintentionaly hilarious!

Additionally titles like Grave of the Fireflies, Plague Dogs & Watership Down (despite the fact that the books those are based are supposedly aimed at kids), Barefoot Gen, and When the Wind Blows.

    ~ Howdy, Michael!

I couldn't agree with you more. Satoshi Kon's films are amazing. They have an aesthetic touch that is quite unique in animation and in Japanese animation in particular. Here in the west I don't feel that enough people have given serious consideration to these wonderful films.

My favorite cartoon movie as well as adult cartoon movie is South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut!

It's like a raunchier and animated version of Duck Soup...which is my favorite Marx Brothers Film!

    I got one...B.C. Rock.

It's also known as The Missing Link which is a French-Belgian film that the English version has Bill Murray voicing the dragon.

It also has music by Genesis, Leo Sauer, and Hall and Kate's.
