You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Does this clip qualify as missing Hanna-Barbera animation? It was a different time back then when Fred and Barney were being recruited to sell Winston cigarettes.

As a matter of fact, it does. These ads were discontinued when Pebbles was born, as it was deemed inappropriate to smoke with a baby in the house. They were replaced by ads for Welch's Grape Juice. Hence, the reason grape juice became Pebbles' drink of choice.

    ~ Hey, emeraldisle!

That's great! I thought so. Of course my favorite part is at the end when Wilma discovers the boys sneaking a puff behind the rock fence. They were supposed to taking care of yardwork! (ha-ah)

A buddy of mine put a whole collection together of dubious product endorsements. Snoopy for Life/Death Benefit Insurance, Mr.Magoo for Schafer's Beer, Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote for Daisy Air-Rifles! Pretty weird stuff.

How about entire episodes being edited, and not so much for puritanical reasons?

Season 2's "Impractical Joker" started for years in reruns usually with Barney demonstrating to Betty with an "air club" how he plans to conk Fred for Fred's jokes, one of which we see in the ACTUAL opener-a sprinkler elephant.

Season 6's "No Biz Like Show Biz"'s full version had a handful of rock shows that Fred and Barney ran into, instead of the football game that they'd planned, a scene or two with Dino, btew the song "Roses and Rainbows", written and in real life done by singer Danny Hutton, of 1970s 3 Dog Night pop-rock fame, was heard.

I guess Wile E. couldn't hurt himself too much with an air rifle. But you never know...

    ~ Hey, Minotaur714!

Of course you know it would be an "Acme Air Rifle", which would always spell trouble for Wile E. "Super Genius"...
