You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The cartoon I am looking for has I think a crow as the main character, there is no speaking that I recall but the background music is a sort of dirge as the crow walks in a straight line splitting trees and anything else that is in it's way. The background music is a known piece but unfortunately I don't recall the title. I watched it as a kid in the 1950's and '60's. There might have been another character chasing the crow for whatever reason. Not much to go on but it's all I have.

This really sounds like the Inki and the Minah Bird series of shorts. There's no talking, and the music is Fingal's Cave overture by Mendelssohn.

Here is a list of the cartoons.

    The Little Lion Hunter
    Inki and the Lion
    Inki and the Minah Bird
    Inki at the Circus
    Caveman Inki

    Hope it helps.

    That's it, thanks.
Any DVD's with all of those cartoons? YouTube quality is always lacking.

It's hard to find these toons on DVD. I believe "Inki and the Minah Bird" is on a DVD titled, Superstar Cartoon Video.

Inki at the Circus can be found on The Golden Age of Looney Tunes (VHS).

Thanks, I wonder if the content keeps these from appearing on a DVD as a set. The caricature of a Black kid might be offensive to some even though I had a black friend that collected anything Black Sambo or the like from the early 20th century.

Before WB got back the rights to the pre-1949 color cartoons they sold to aap in the 1950's, the previous owners released the Inki cartoons in that package on VHS and laserdisc. MGM released a "Little Tweety and Little Inki" VHS with 3 of the 4 1940's Inki cartoons and the first 3 Tweety cartoons (without Sylvester). And Turner put all 4 1940's Inki cartoons on the "Golden Age of Looney Tunes" laserdisc box sets. (I think those sets included almost every WB cartoon in the aap package, except the "Censored 11". Even "Bugs Bunny Nips The Nips" was included.)

A lot of good information, I have an old Pioneer Elite LaserDisc Player so I might just grab the set you mentioned.
    Thank you!
