You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

...was when the Pac-Man/Little Rascals/Richie Rich show debuted on ABC.

The series saw the Saturday morning debuts of Pac-Man and The Little Rascals. Only select characters were featured in the animated series, mostly those that were popular during the original Black & White run's peak. Makes me wonder why Stymie Beard was excluded from the cartoon?

Pac-Man was made into a cartoon during the height of the video game's popularity at that time. The Little Rascals, however, was the most underrated element of the series, though the Rascals did manage to survive for two seasons. Richie Rich entered his third season that same week, though Richie Rich's voice sounded a lot more mature unlike in the previous two seasons.

Also, I do have one question to ask JamesVipond: Do you have any recordings of The Little Rascals animated series in your collection? Or at least the "Cap'n Spanky's Showboat" episode? Is it possible you could post them on YouTube if you have a video capture card or some way to copy the recordings to DVD format?

No, Dave, my family didn't own a VCR in 1982, so I don't have any recordings of Hanna-Barbera's Little Rascals cartoon series. Other fans have uploaded no fewer than five of the shorts to YouTube: "Rascals' Revenge" (French dub), "Beauty Queen for a Day" (as part of the Pac-Preview Party special), "Alfalfakazam!" (French dub), "Pete's Big Break" (which used to be on Ron Kurer's Toon Tracker site) and "The Zero Hero".

I myself would like to see more of the Little Rascals cartoons, especially "The Irate Pirates" and "Darla's Dream Dance".

Not sure who originally wrote that James.... I just copied it over! You are INCORRECT, though, I DID have a VCR (of sorts) in 1982... it ran 2" tape and was as big as two refirigerators.... If yiuy ever watch the old Red Green show, that whatever that Reds nephew wears around his neck is a control panel from an old Ampex 2" Quad VTR... WHich I was using as early as 1980!
