You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

And That Was His Final Answer.

TV veteran Regis Philbin died last week at age 88.

His TV career began in 1967, on The Joey Bishop Show(talk show). From there, he appeared on many TV shows. Later, he hosted the talk show Live! With Regis And Kathie Lee. When Kathie Lee Gifford left, she was replaced by ex-soap actress Kelly Ripa, and the show became Live! With Regis And Kelly. He and both hostesses engaged in friendly banter at the beginning of each broadcast. When Philbin retired, Kelly became the permanent hostess, and went through several co-hosts before Michael Ryan became the permanent partner.

Philbin also hosted the prime-time version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? This game show was so successful that it spawned a half-hour daytime version. This was hosted initially by Meredith Viera, and then several male hosts before it was cancelled. Recently, the show returned to prime time.

RIP, Mr. Philbin. You will be missed. :(

I do love Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Did Regis Philbin ever do voice acting in cartoons?

I was wondering the same thing about voice acting in cartoons.

However, in one episode of "Arthur", the one titled "Bitzi's Beau", there was footage of a Millionaire-like game show where the host uttered "Is that your final answer?", but the host never looked nor sounded anything like Regis.

Aside from "Millionaire", Regis also hosted the short-lived prime time game show "Million Dollar Password" - it wasn't that great. I'd rather "Super Password" any day.

Speaking of "Password", Regis did appear as a celebrity player alongside Betty White on "Password Plus" during its final weeks on NBC in 1982. One of his episodes was the final episode of "Password Plus" to air on Game Show Network, back in September 2014.
